Projects - Read and Write Initiative

Everyone should READ and WRITE

In our bid to improve the quality of education disadvantaged children get, we are embarking on a Literacy Intervention Programme to build a solid reading foundation for these children by ensuring that those who are unable to read or not able to read well, take part in this programme: The Read & Write Initiative which should commence in the first quarter of 2014.

Burden to Provide a Coaching Environment in Basic English with a View To Encouraging a Reading and Writing Culture for our Children.

The intent is to impart knowledge and training that will empower participants with a good/reasonable command of english language, ability to use a dictionary with ease, building vocabulary, improved spelling & the skills to identify common errors in English. This will aid the ability to understand examination instructions, independent reading, etc. This will bring about the writing of a four page book (journal) by participants, of a publishable standard, at the end of the course.
